What is the first thing I need to book?

One of the first things you should book is your venue! This decision helps set the feel for your party, so make sure to pick a spot that can fit all your guests and works with the theme/feel of your party.

What hotel area is best for guests to stay at?

Pick an area that has restaurants/shops within walking distance for your guests.  The Domain or downtown area are great spots!

Where is a good place for a Friday Night Dinner?

Pick a location that is easy for your out of town guests to get to and provides an Austin flare!

How can I cut cost with my bar?

Bars can get expensive so a way to cut cost is serve Beer/Wine only.  If you feel your guests need something else throw in a fun specialty drink … who doesn’t love a margarita!

What is a normal “no” rate?

A standard “no” rate for a Wedding/Mitzvah is 10-15% this is on top of the guests you have to send invitations to but know aren’t able to make it.

Do I need to have a theme for my Mitzvah?

A trend is forgoing a theme and instead picking a great color scheme and a fun logo!

Is it typical to have activities all weekend for my guests?

It is nice to have additional activities for guests to partake in during the weekend.  They have made the effort and paid a lot of money to come in for your special occasion so why not treat them to a Sunday Brunch or pre-celebration dinner.

Should I have a logo created for my event?

A logo is a great way to tie in a color scheme or theme of the event!  They can be used in invitations, custom stamps, decorative pillow, signs and more at your event.

What is the best way to create a big impact without breaking the bank?

A great way to make an impact is with lighting and linens! Uplights help take a room for every day to a fun party! Next use a fun color linen to help provide an additional pop and elevate your decor.

What benefit do I get from having an event planner?

An event planner helps save you time, money and stress!  We have connections with vendors that provide discounts to our clients.  We also act as a “one-stop-shop” for you to come and ask all your questions.  We are your advocate and help manage all vendors.
