Remote Event Kits for Attendees

Amidst a transition to virtual events, we’ve mentioned the idea of gifting your attendees remote event packages that contain fun elements to help deliver the event experience to them. We’re executing this idea for our Virtual Open House collaboration with Groove Labs on June 7, so if you want a firsthand example, sign up to attend this event! This open house will showcase several virtual event concepts, such as virtual entertainment, online activities in breakout rooms, and the distribution of these event kits! You can visit our Instagram to see some of what will be included in our packages. In this week’s blog, we’ll be covering some examples of things to include in your kits, and how to tailor them to your event!

1) Local catering

Everyone wants to get in on some good food! Including small bites, desserts, or even snacks for your attendees is a great way to extend your event theme to everyone participating and also give everyone something to share in and talk about! You can order packaged dishes or desserts from a local restaurant or package your own treats in custom bags or boxes to go right along with your event! One great example is Fancy Fluff ATX, who is now selling individual bags of cotton candy on their website!

2) Drinks or mixology kits

Purchasing or putting together cocktail kits for attendees to make themselves and then enjoy together is an idea that we love, whether you’re celebrating a birthday, milestone, or just hosting a virtual happy hour! Other than a make-it-yourself cocktail, you could include bottled drinks from local companies like Austin Eastciders or Hops & Grain!

3) Branded merchandise

A remote event package is the perfect chance to gift any and all event SWAG to your guests that you normally would — t-shirts, socks, hats, cups/bottles, phone cases, etc.! This is also where some of the timely ideas like customized hand sanitizer and masks like we’ve mentioned in a past blog can come into play.

4) Decor pieces

Help your attendees set their own homes with your event theme for the virtual celebration! Include balloons for them to blow up, confetti, streamers, and anything else that you would like to include at an in-person event that can easily be executed within everyone’s individual space.

The connection that online meeting technology allows us to maintain can only be enhanced by these fun elements that can be enjoyed from everyone’s own homes. Your attendees will love receiving a package full of surprise treats and fun pieces to remember the event by. We can be enlisted to help with organizing, ordering, and facilitating the delivery of your event packages! Request a free consultation here!
